Mr. & Mrs. Ben & Miriam Ellershaw

Ben & MiriamOn Dec. 14th Ben & Miriam officially tied the knot with close friends and family as witnesses.

Coming from England and India, Ben & Miriam attended first and second year programmes here at Capernwray Harbour and later joined the Staff Team.  Ben's main role is assisting in the Maintenance Department.  Miriam began here as the Head of Housekeeping but is now serving as the Office Receptionist.

Together, these two serve our Lord Jesus with humble hearts, devoted to caring for those around them.  Please pray for them as they adjust to life as newlyweds.

Bible School Happenings

Thank you for praying with us for the Bible School students, Staff and Guests during this Term. We need God in every way!

Highlights from this Term:

Missions Fest Vancouver:

Missions Fest, attracting upwards of 40,000 guests through it's doors annually was a fantastic experience for so many... not the least ...our entire student body!
Booth at Missions Fest VancouverAs we do every year, the whole student body headed over to Vancouver for the weekend. Besides Capernwray Harbour being responsible for setting up the Mission Booths, hosting many, many seminars, being ushers and forming prayer teams for the thousands of youth at Youth Events, the students had time to browse the mission booths displaying many of the countless ways God reaches people in so many countries! This expands the view of the harvest field God is reaching! Shouldn't we join Him!?

Jewish Theme Week:

Jewish Theme WeekJewish Theme Week with Jacques and Sharon Gabizon, leaders of Ariel Ministries Canada, were with us for the week. Jacques was teaching through the Minor Prophets. One evening of their week, Sharon led and taught about the Jewish Seder. It certainly was a great blessing to help many come to a deeper appreciation of what we should understand and on which we should contemplate about Jesus' suffering, death and resurrection! This was followed by a wonderful Jewish feast! After the evening session by Jacques in the classroom, Sharon led some worshipful Israeli dancing drawing attention to the Lord whom we should worship! Wonderful! Lots of fun too a good way!
