Our Newest Arrival

Chris, Susy and big brother Seth are thrilled about the safe arrival of Elijah Samuel Fordham born November 5.  All of us are grateful to the Lord for this new bundle of life, a very visible testimony of His grace, love and faithfulness.

Bible School Happenings

We, as a staff body, are so thankful for this years' Bible School Students.  They are hungry for the Word of God and it is always refreshing and encouraging when the Lord Jesus begins to open hearts and minds to receive knowledge of His Character.  What a privilege it is to be apart of their lives and to be joined with them in the unity and fellowship of the Life of Christ through Him who makes all things possible.

The students have begun their personal study in the book of Mark.  Each student is assigned a passage and they are taught to prayerfully study and reflect on Christ's character throughout the passage. We will then meet in our home groups at the end of the month where each student will have the opportunity to share a ten to fifteen minute presentation on what they have learned about the Lord Jesus Christ through the passage assigned with some application.  These study projects are always a blessing to each one as we soak in the Lord's goodness and gracious revelation.  Please pray with us as we trust in the Lord to reveal His transforming Life to each and every staff and student during the preparations and presentations of these projects.

One new activity that one of our students initiated this year was a pumpkin carving contest with a "Bible" theme.  The staff were the judges of these masterpieces & this pumpkin won first prize!

If you or someone you know is interested in joining us for Bible School starting in January 2010 please contact Tara in our office for more details.  Some spaces available!
