You can have life apart from God and still experience all of His goodness.


LIFE

John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent.
John 6:47 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
John 12:25 "He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal.

Rom. 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
Rom. 1:21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom. 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
Rom. 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
Rom. 1:24 ¶ Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them.
Rom. 1:25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Ps. 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do {His commandments}; His praise endures forever.


Truth

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.
John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have {it} abundantly.
Matt. 16:26 "For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Matt. 6:24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Gal. 5:19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
Gal. 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
Gal. 5:21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal. 5:23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."


The Way

               Jesus’ Example:

John 5:30 ¶ "I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
1 Cor. 11:1 Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.
John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

               Our part:

Matt. 22:37 And He said to him, " ' You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.'
Matt. 22:38 "This is the great and foremost commandment.
Matt. 22:39 "The second is like it, ' You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
Matt. 22:40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him."

1 Tim. 6:11 ¶ But flee from these things, you man of God; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance {and} gentleness.
Rom. 13:12 The night is almost gone, and the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

The Promise

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith.
Matt. 5:6 ¶ "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Luke 12:31 "But seek for His kingdom, and these things shall be added to you.
Luke 11:9 "And I say to you, ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.
Matt. 12:20 " A battered reed He will not break off, And a smoldering wick He will not put out, Until He leads justice to victory.
Jer. 29:11 'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
Phil. 1:6 {For I am} confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Phil. 3:8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ,
Gal. 1:4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Prov. 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.
Prov. 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Prov. 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
Prov. 3:8 It will be healing to your body, And refreshment to your bones.

Rom. 1:16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Rom. 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
