Spring Has Arrived!
A variety of groups will join us during the next two and half weeks. Groups coming include Quilting Guilds, a Rug Braiding Group, Ladies Retreats, a Men's Retreat, Church Retreats, Cadets, and a High School Class. We're looking forward to seeing friends who've come before, meeting those on their first visit and serving them all in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. The cadets and high school class will join us for a few days of outdoor activities where principles such as personal growth, communication, and teamwork will be taught and experienced using activities like the climbing tower, the screamer, team initiatives courses, and waterfront. Conference and Retreat packages are available for seniors, churches, families and all groups seeking fellowship and refreshment. Planned Giving
The Bible School students headed out for their Spring Break on Thursday, and we welcomed our first two private conference groups on Friday afternoon.
We anticipate that guests coming for these retreats will be refreshed in rediscovering Christ, looking into God's Word and enjoy His beautiful creation. We also love to see the unique expressions of the quilters' and rug braiders' skilled handiwork. With thankfulness we anticipate that the Lord Jesus will do a refreshing work in many hearts during this time as He constantly reveals Himself as Life and Truth.
On March 11, student outreaches began around the globe to Victoria, Quebec, Seattle, Japan, Philippians and India as well as to the students' respective "homes" for spring break. The students have been sent out to proclaim in practical ways that Jesus Christ is Lord and Life, taking with them all that they've learned (in everyday life together and in the classes over the past five months). Please keep our students in your prayers as they continue to minister in the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. | |
