We then enjoyed an exquisite feast with over 200 guests of family & friends. What a delight to celebrate together & to send off this year's student body in such an extravagant way. Our hearts are filled with thanksgiving to the Lord Jesus as we trust in Him to remind each one in the days ahead of what they have learned of Him.
I Thessalonians 5:23 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it."
The celebration began with a baptism on the beach where 10 students & staff proclaimed their desire to put to death their old way of life & to experience the Resurrection Life of our Lord Jesus Christ! What a blessing to witness their lives changed throughout the past 8 months! The Lord Jesus has done miraculous works throughout this student body & these 10 were just a small representation of the lives transformed! Praise God!
Celebrations continued with the reading of individually chosen scriptures in the lecture hall as students were called forward & received their certificates of completion. The Word of God proclaimed & lives transformed!
In these programmes (among other things) we learn about life principles of team work, communication, problem solving and personal growth. It is our intention that participants would come to discover the truth about life's purpose, standards and relationships as revealed to us by the person and Words of Jesus Christ. Through fun, relational and practical hands on activities we have the opportunity to present the Truth, guide individuals toward discovery and encourage them towards application in their own lives for personal growth. It is of course our ultimate desire that each person we meet would have and respond to a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and come to know the fullness of His indwelling Life! It is our privilege to serve individuals in this context!
