Outreach
Outreach Ministries offer an opportunity for us to serve others beyond our Capernwray Thetis Island campus community.

Some programs are local to the Island, and some range far and wide.

We visit two different elementary schools on Thetis and Kuper Islands, and a third in Chemainus. At these schools, our students assist in the class, and supervise students after the regular class day has ended.

Youth Drop-ins
Our students also support the staff at a youth drop-in centre in a nearby town. And supporting them may mean just mingling with local teenagers who come to that centre on weekend nights.

A Capernwray student team also make a monthly strip to the Nanaimo medium security prison. There, the students lead church services for the inmates.

Street ministries include walking the Victoria, BC streets, relating with and conversing with a variety of people. The Mustard Seed Church also needs assistance, and our students are engaged as volunteers there as well.
